Can you guys (by guys, i mean girls) look like your natural self...maybe...
I know, I know, the same thing can be said about guys...we have our own appearances that we work on, and care too much about too.
But back to it...the start...we are just too sinful aren't we, and we only need God to control that. Control us.
Oh, yesterday in discussion, i brought up a question on why we have hormones created in us, when it causes us to lust over others. And sure, excitement isn't always a bad thing, eg. marriage (since it is necessary to have the pleasure God intended you to have), but it also causes you to maybe look at ANOTHER girl...and feel the same way. Couldn't it...iunno, sounds stupid but...just cause us to be attracted to that one girl that you have committed to love. That sounds like a fantasy. But anyways, that's just a weird thought that I had.

I'm curious - when you say the part about "can you look like your natural selves" or whatever - by that do you mean like girls not wearing makeup or something? Would "natural looking" girls not be as much of a temptation?

mhmm true, but I think girls with makeup attract men more to look at them lustfully, as opposed to no-make up, hahas.
yea, this blog seems like I'm hating on girls...but I'm not. This is me ranting...how I feel, very directly and straight.
I think you are looking at women wearing makeup in completely the wrong perspective. Perhaps it is just myself, but I don't wear makeup to impress a guy - I wear it to feel good about myself and be more confident. If I can cover up a few spots and marks, I can concentrate on what I'm supposed to be doing and not worrying about people looking at the marks.
But I suppose you can make the same argument in every context. "Why must you women wear pushup bras and tights. So tempting."

I know...girls/women gotta do what they gotta do...and same for men. cuse as humans, we are imperfect (physically, mentally, emotionally). And naturally, we wanna hide all our imperfections (which a.k.a. we wanna look perfect in front of people. I mean, if you take away all imperfections, then that means your striving to be perfect.)
BUT you know who's perfect? God is. And He's the best One you can strive to be.
But can I ask you tho, Is it possible to be confident, and NOT put so much on physical on appearance at the same time?
And..I can't change what you guys gotta do lol...but at least I could do something about it myself.
I also realized, confidence is a psychological thing. And beauty, and appearance...is a "relative" thing. If you thing your the most beautiful person in the world; no one can stop you from thinking that, if you truly think you are. And it should be that way...cuse God made us perfect anyways. Until our downfall.
I think what you're looking more at, is how people would look at you if they saw those imperfections. Cuse you wouldn't care less, if you were home alone and nobody was seeing you. I think we just all care about social acceptance and judgmental-ness (if there is such word...)
