You make choices based on your scenario, based on the environment around you .The factors that affect your decision. I think...God can change those...factors. Or should I say, control them.
So that way, we're still making a choice. But in the end, God knew that choice, and planned and predestined it.
Choice V.S. Control
God has control. We have choice.
Can we reconcile those?
It kinda makes sense...a little...
Well, controlwise, it's either we have it, or God has it. 2 or more entities can't have control at the same time. It clearly states in the Bible that God is sovereign, meaning that he has complete utter independent control and authority over all things. So clearly, God's in control. And if God's control, we aren't then.
But in the Bible, it also says that we have free choice. We can make decisions. So humans have 'free choice' then.
Can we have 1) free choice...
and God be 2) Sovereignty...
at the same time? I think so...
Well, because, first off the Bible says so lol...they are already both true so...it's def not a lie.
So perhaps how can these two go together? God has total control....We have free choice....
Perhaps, "God has control over our free choice"?...that's just a thought on it...
Perhaps, "God has control over our free choice"?...that's just a thought on it...
But then, what is "free choice" again?....is it the same as being in control, when you have a choice? lol
I'm just gonna leave it there...it's quite a weird question to end off on. Not really a conclusion...
These discussions could go on...they're interesting. But one thing is, you're not supposed to understand everything about God anyways. Simply, because He's God. What does it make of Him...if we understand Him fully? We're starting understand humans (e.g. psychology, etc)...but not even close to prob discovering everything about them, and He's God. Why even try to discover exactly how he works.
Just worship Him for who He is. That's what makes Him awesome. Not knowing what He's all about (by that, I mean, 'how everything God does works out'. But DO know more about who He is..in the Bible).

Is it...?
So you think it's right to give someone something...and then take it away...?
Would you agree with the person, that is taking away..
It can be used in so many contexts...but generally, how would one feel about that?
I mean...God gives and takes away...so it's gotta be right.
I mean, there's such an unsatisfactory feeling...when something that was given to you, get's taken away. Even tho, you never would've had it from the start. It's like, the time that it's given to you, it feels like it's yours...but it isn't...
Was it ever yours to begin with really...I wonder. Is it giving, when what you have still belongs to the giver.
Is it ok to give a kid a cookie, and then take it and eat it yourself. Or is it good to give a toy to a kid, and then crush it in front of him...
