ummm...i jus pasted this from my other blog (xanga):
talk about defending my religion.....today, wooww...i was gangged up by my whole accounting class (literally), where everyone was against christianity...and i was the only one for. This kinda happened cuse we had 20 min of free time, and all I did was bring up a subject askin a friend of mine (Calvin Yong), if He wanted to attend the upcoming KTB I was gonna be part of. nd the first thing....."You go to church?!?!?".....everyone else beside him, "You know God is fake rite, and christianity is BS, stop believing!! u should jus give up....". Nd that's when I start feeling a lil....can't find the word fr it. Nd everyone around me jus suddenly gangs up on me and attacks me with all these questions. Like dude...wut about christianity...does everyone hate so much about?!?!...wut'd it ever do to them??
Student #1: "So God hates gay ppl rite.....So why the *ell did He create them!!"
Me: God didn't "make" gay ppl.....He made "perfect ppl" who turned gay. (i didn't realli wanna elaborate more cuse i dun think they'd understand anewayz)
Student #2: If u believe in God....y don't you even respect Him!! I don't think you follow everything that He tells you to do....do u!?"
Me: (I felt a bit ashamed answering that question, cuse it was true, i did NOT follow every single word of God, no one did, or else they'd be perfect) We do respect Him....and we try to follow each and every word that He's given to us...but it'z jus not everyone does....cuse it'z hard to. If we could, than we'd be as perfect as Him
Student #3: How can u rely everything on faith?!?...So i can jus make up sum religion is have "faith" in that.
Me: Faith defines my religion. (Through faith is how we're saved)
Student #4: Why do u care about the after life so much...?? Does that mean we could do whatever we want in this life?? wut if i told u....there was no life after.
Me: No...this life is still important, because wut we do now, sorta determines wut will happen after we Die (I hope there was no misunderstanding that I was actually refering our purpose on earth: to spread the word of God, and not that we'll get to heaven through Good deeds)
Student #5: entertainment is a sin rite.....? So why did God give males/females sexual hormones to enjoy pleasure?
Me: Entertainment is not a sin...
y do ppl...find things to contradict anewayz....??wut'z the point....to prove their rite bout sumthin??...well, these kinda things can't be proved. I find it is SO HARD to talk to anti-christians/non-christians because it'z soo hard to explain stuff to them...when they don't even have a background about it. Stuff that might make sense to u...might not make sense to them.
im srry if this blog was realli...not exactly too spiritual lol iunno, but this happened today with me at skool, and i jus thought i'd share it.
